The New Inn, our community pub. (click on the link to find out more)
In the village, our pub provides a bar, restaurant, B&B rooms and a café which doubles as a skittle alley when a game is on. This was in severe danger of closing (like many village pubs) in 2020 but the villagers rallied round, raised funds and not only bought the pub but completely refurbished it thereby providing a community owned, 21st century coaching house with all the trappings of its 18th century origins.

Halse and District Garden Club
Our very active club holds regular talks, meetings, garden visits, workshops and fun events to support our local communities. We welcome all to join and share in the delights of the tradition of English gardens washed down with tea, cake and the occasionally something a little more appropriate for summer.

The Halse Hikers
Anyone, with or without dog, is welcome to join us for a hike through our beautiful countryside. We take turns to suggest the route, most of which are not too arduous and always include a pub lunch.
